On November 30, 2022, the Fifth Zhejiang Local Multinational Corporation Growth Forum and the Launching Ceremony of the New Three Year Action Plan of "Silk Road Pilot" was held in Shaoxing. The theme of this forum is "cultivating new momentum for development, transnational pilot to the future". The purpose of this forum is to thoroughly implement the spirit of the 20th CPC National Congress and the 15th Provincial Party Congress, continue to polish the golden card of Zhejiang's private economy, and build a new development pattern of "double circulation" with high-level openness. Chen Tiexiong, Vice Chairman of the CPPCC Zhejiang Province, and Sheng Yuechun, Secretary of the Shaoxing Municipal Party Committee attended the event and delivered a speech. Han Jie, Director of the Department of Commerce of Zhejiang Province, delivered a keynote speech.
During the forum, Zhejiang Provincial Department of Commerce released the list of "pilot enterprises" of local private transnational companies in Zhejiang Province in 2022 and awarded licenses to the representatives of "pilot enterprises" in batches. Our company, together with 50 enterprises such as Zhejiang Geely Holding Group Co., Ltd. and Zhejiang Rongsheng Holding Group Co., Ltd., were on the list. The top 50 enterprises are distributed in 8 cities in Zhejiang Province, including 20 in Hangzhou, which ranks first in the province.
The data shows that in 2022, among Zhejiang's "going global" enterprises, 9 enterprises will enter the list of "World Top 500", 10 enterprises will enter the list of "China's Top 100 Transnational Corporations", and the average transnational index of 50 pilot enterprises will reach 30.8%, 15.2 percentage points higher than the average transnational index of China's Top 100 Transnational Corporations. More than 500 overseas enterprises have been established, and the amount of foreign investment recorded has exceeded 45 billion US dollars, covering 63 countries and regions. A number of Zhejiang enterprises have gradually grown into excellent private transnational corporations with high transnational operation index, strong comprehensive competitiveness and great international influence through "going out".
As one of the special activities of the 6th World Conference of Zhejiang Merchants, this forum was jointly hosted by Zhejiang Provincial Department of Commerce, Shaoxing Municipal People's Government and Zhejiang Branch of the Export Import Bank of China, and invited to the Special Representative Office of the Ministry of Commerce in Hangzhou, the Silk Road International Productivity Cooperation Promotion Center, the Provincial Department of Economy and Information Technology, the Provincial Department of Science and Technology, the Hangzhou Central Sub branch of the People's Bank of China, the Provincial Federation of Industry and Commerce More than 180 persons attended the event, including relevant units such as Zhejiang Branch of China Export and Credit Insurance Corporation, more than 100 key "going out" leading enterprises in Zhejiang Province such as Qingshan Group and Hengyi Group, overseas economic and trade cooperation zones, cross-border service institutions and other relevant responsible persons.
